[Video] Hardcore Kettlebell Bodyweight Workout

In this installment of Warrior Workout Wednesday, fitness guru Tyler Bramlett shows you a hard hitting cardio/conditioning workout that will work your body from head to toe using nothing but a pull-up bar and a kettle bell or dumbbell - in just 10 minutes!

This is a progressive workout, so you will increase the number of reps in each set - believe me - by the time you're done you will be burning!

*** Please note that this is an intense workout, so be careful, and pay close attention to proper form! If you are starting out with very little upper body strength, start with a lower weight kettlebell - 10 or even 5 lbs. You should always consult your physician before beginning any new exercise routine, especially if you are starting at a low level of fitness.

Burn Fat Fast With Bags, Bells, & Bodyweight

Bodyweight training has been around for - well, as long as bodies have! But over the past few years, it has become more and more popular, and it's now considered to be a top fitness trend. Why? 3 reasons:

One - it's highly effective for anyone to use. Two - it's a fast method that doesn't require months before you see results. And three - you don't have to purchase additional equipment or any nutritional products to get great results.

This method works for people who don't have the time to go to the gym constantly, but still want to stay fit. It works for people who don't have the budget for fancy extras or for those who don't like to leave home to exercise.

It works because it's so convenient.  Bodyweight training combines building muscle with losing weight as well as fat. It's a great way to reshape your body. If you're tired of the methods that don't work for you, then bodyweight training is a great method to try.

But mainly, it works because your body is already a muscle building machine. Some people know how to work their bodies to build muscle. They know how to tap into what's already there.

But some people don't know how to do that.  If you look around at the buff bodies you see, it can be easy to believe that those people have something you don't. That maybe they have a personal trainer - or a nutritionist on hand.

Or maybe they're putting out the big bucks and they're paying a surgeon to achieve the look they have. That could all be true - but more than likely, it's not. It's more likely that these people are using simple yet effective bodyweight training methods.

So if you've been discouraged at the thought of getting the shape you want and feeling like it can't happen for you, don't be. It doesn't matter if you're a man, a woman, a senior citizen or overweight, you can build muscle and lose fat with bodyweight training.

Would you be surprised to learn that it only takes 4 minutes a day to get the body that you want? Obviously, spending 4 minutes for all of the benefits you'll gain is well worth it!

There's a lot of information about it that can help you learn about bodyweight training so that you get the most from your efforts.  For example, while you don't need a lot of expensive equipment to do basic bodyweight training, you might not know that using things like weights or Kettlebells can help add resistance.

You can also use sandbags. These are bags filled with sand that helps your body to build balanced muscle quickly because your body has to keep adjusting to the way the sand shifts.

Knowing how to use these helps is a must. You'll want to seek guidance from a program that can teach you the basics. A good one is Bags, Bells & Body Weight. It can show you how Kettlebells and sandbags are muscle building tools. Plus, you'll get information on the best bodyweight movements to have in your routine.

Video: Beginner's Toning Kettlebell Workout

This 30-minute video gives a great workout for those just starting out with kettlebells. It does include a warmup, but you will also want to do some stretches afterwards to prevent soreness and increase flexibility.

This workout challenges your back, shoulders, arms, and legs, and is great for building upper body strength, and toning your entire body.

The moves are fairly basic, but be sure to follow the instructions provided for proper form to avoid injury. If you have not used kettlebells before, you should start with a lighter weight.

* Note: Kettlebells, like any weights, must be handled with care, and proper technique should be used to stay safe. Be sure to consult with a physician before beginning to be sure you are fit enough to do this routine.

Intense Kettlebell Workout Produces Superior Results

Russian Kettlebells are a great new workout trend. These kettlebell workouts may be an excellent alternative to maintaining a full home gym or having an expensive club membership. With Russian kettlebells you can develop superior gains over traditional workout methods and save lots of space in your home.

One of the top instructors of Russian Kettlebell training is Pavel Tsatsouline. He is a former Spetznaz trainer. For those who may not know, Spetznaz is the Russian equivalent of the CIA or special forces.

After studying some of Pavel's books you can definitely find out how to have explosive instant power ready at all times - very handy for a special agent. But, not everyone is a spy; in fact very few of us are. So what benefits does kettlebell training have for the average woman or man?

Kettlebell training can be a great way to lose weight, tone up the body, and stay in shape once you get it there, along with the added benefits mentioned above.

And not only that, kettlebell workouts may be better for you than regular traditional weights. In one of his books, Pavel mentions some of the fitness tests that were used to compare kettlebell training to traditional workouts. The kettlebell trainers seemed to be in much better shape according to Pavel. And Pavel would know - You can see a picture of Pavel on his web site as well as his books and DVDs. The guy is well muscled and toned for someone that avoids traditional "weight training" like the plague.

Speaking of muscle and tone, check out the incredible ab muscles that Pavel can show you how to develop. Pavel, being an expert in physical training combined with his unique experience and insight is fully qualified to show you all about physical fitness. Whether you are male or female, Pavel can show you the way to fitness.

Another thing that is fun about Pavel and his work is that he brings his colorful and interesting Russian personality into play. For example, just think of the title of one of his books, "Power to the People!"

Me? I find that title humorous, but if I had to explain why I think it's funny, I'm not sure that I could. It might be the underlying but subtle notion that liberation is in order for someone. Come to think of it, I guess liberation is in order. Pavel wants to show us a better way to fitness and free us from our need to spend an inordinate amount of time in the gym and spend it more wisely and effectively, so that we can have great physical fitness and time to enjoy it as well.

As you can see by glancing at his pictures, Pavel not only knows how to develop an amazing physique but he also knows how to keep himself flexible at the same time. He also has several books and DVDs on building flexibility through stretching.

Maybe now you can understand why I think this man has some answers to fitness that we might not be able to find anywhere else, nor all in one convenient location either. For more on his kettlebell workouts for strength and fitness, see resources below.

As always, consult a primary care physician before embarking on any fitness regimen. This article is for informational purposes only and is not to treat, prevent or diagnose any physical condition.

Video - 10 Minute Kettlebell Workout

Here is a quick kettlebell workout you can do in just a few minutes. This one actually looks pretty safe (unlike some of the other videos out there that make me cringe just to watch - they are just asking for injury unless your form is PERFECT!);  however, you will still want to consult with your doctor or chiropractor before trying a new workout like this - especially with a heavy weight like a kettlebell. But some of these moves provide great strengthening and toning, without putting too much stress on your joints.

It's fast, effective, and pretty fun as long as you don't overdo it.
